You choose and leave the rest to us! Of course please feel free to make your own accommodation arrangements if you
would prefer - and find links to recommended stays below. Keep in mind that there are times when almost
all accommodation in Snowdonia is taken up, so at very short notice we cannot necessarily gaurantee to find
accomodation in the class of your choice. Book your break with us in advance if you can.
Bed & Breakfast and Guest Houses
This is a very popular choice and there are many very high quality guest houses and B & B's
in the area. Prices at the top end in high season may be close to hotel prices - up to £80 per room per night
based on 2 sharing. Expect to pay a single room supplement if you want a room to yourself (typically half the
double room rate plus £10 - but this varies from establishment to establishment). You can be sure of an
excellent breakfast, personal service and a good night's sleep.
Self Catering Cottage
Prices are highly seasonal but for small groups a self catering cottage can be a very
good value. Most places are only offered on a weekly basis, but we can arrange for shorter stays locally on a
daily rate. (See "Danuska's Cottage" below)
Hotels
If you are seeking hotel accommodation please advise us of what budget you have in mind, and if
you would prefer full or half board. As with anywhere else, prices vary enourmously, starting at around £90 per room
based on two people sharing. Single room supplements will apply and there will be seasonal variation in prices.
Bunkhouses and Hostels
Bunkhouses and Hostels offer self catering dormitory or shared accommodation
typically on bunkbeds, usually with linen provided; but take a sleeping bag just in case.
They are Great if you are in a party and don't mind sharing a room with
your friends. If you are on your own you will probably have to share a room with people you have not
met before, but they can be great places to make new friends and forge new contacts with people who have similar
interests. Be prepared to take and prepare your own food, although some hostels offer breakfast and evening meals.
Prices vary from around £13 per person per night to over £20 if some food is included.
